In this project, the focus was on creating a distinctive and functional inlaid surface for a desktop. The process began with a precision CNC machining of an oak desktop to create a custom inlay area. This CNC cutting ensured a perfectly fitted recess for the subsequent installation of Marmoleum linoleum.

Once the oak surface was prepared, Marmoleum linoleum was meticulously fitted into the inlay. Marmoleum, known for its eco-friendly properties and durability, was chosen for its ability to provide a stylish and resilient finish. The installation involved carefully aligning and securing the linoleum within the oak recess to ensure a seamless and professional appearance.

This meticulous approach not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the desktop with the natural beauty of oak combined with the vibrant colors and patterns of Marmoleum but also ensured a durable and practical surface suitable for various uses. The completed desktop featured a unique and attractive inlaid design, demonstrating both craftsmanship and attention to detail.
